Christmas morning

On Christmas morning I got up and made Monkey Bread, out traditional Christmas morning breakfast. The girls woke up and started pulling the stuff out of their stockings. Then we waited for a few minutes unil my parents arrived to watch the girls open gifts.Avery with her stocking

Christmas morning candy, while waiting for Grandma and Papa to arrive. The long awaited horse house. What's funny is that Sage has been telling us for weeks that she wanted a "horse house" and that Grandma and Papa were going to get it for her. But when she started opening it we asked her what it was, and doubt entered and and she wouldn't say. But of course she was thrilled when she opened it up and got her (preassembled) horse house.

Capri with wrapping paper and bows......doesn't get much better than that.

Helping Capri open some gifts.

Sage's other most asked for toy, her Crayola light brush paint set.

Avery opened her Guitar from daddy.

Sage started opening these animals over in the corner of the room, we weren't really watching her, but all of sudden she started squeeling. She was so happy! :) It's the wild animal set that go with her "horse house".

Mommy's surprise gift from daddy :) Have I mentioned I have the best husband in the whole wide world.

Capri opening gifts.

Sage got Avery this Barbie swimming poop. It was really fun this year for them to pick out gifts for each other. They really seemed to understand the giving, and had fun doing it.

After we opened gifts, my parents went home we cleaned up and headed over to their house. My grandparents joined us and we opend gifts and ate dinner. Then we played the Wii for a bit. There isn't much better than watching for 82 yr old grandfather playing Wii golf. :) Hopefully I'll get some of those pictures posted soon.
Then the next day Nana came to visit and we opened gifts again.
Open a horse that Nana got Sage.

Avery opening some art supplies from Uncle Jesse and Aunt Kate (perfect gift for her).

Capri checking out her new walker/stroller.

The top picture of Avery looks just like you as a little girl! Oh, and I love that little baby doll walker, where did you find it?
